Pierre Kalulu will miss Juventus' final push for Champions League football following his red card against Lazio on Saturday.

Juventus will be without defender Pierre Kalulu for the last two games of their Serie A season following his red card against Lazio on Saturday.

Kalulu was dismissed in the 60th minute of Juventus' 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico following a needless shove in the face of Lazio forward Valentin Castellanos.

The incident was initially missed by referee Davide Massa, but he was sent to the pitchside monitor to review the decision and then sent the 24-year-old off.

Kalulu has appeared 29 times for Juventus this campaign, with only Nicolas Gonzalez (101) and Dusan Vlahovic (81) winning more aerial duels than the Frenchman (74) in Serie A.

His absence from the squad will be a huge blow for Igor Tudor's team, who are aiming to secure a top four spot and seal Champions League football next season.

Following their draw with Lazio, Juventus sit fourth in the table, level on points with Saturday's opponents, while Roma and Bologna are also within striking distance.

Kalulu will miss Juventus' upcoming league matches against Udinese and Venezia.
