Sarina Wiegman has named her penultimate England squad ahead of the Women's Euros, with three key players returning from injury.

England have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their Women's Euros defence, with three key players returning for their upcoming Nations League matches.

Alex Greenwood, Georgia Stanway and Lauren Hemp were all recalled to Sarina Wiegman's squad for England's games against Portugal and Spain.

There is, however, no place in the 27-player squad for Lauren James, who is continuing to recover from a hamstring injury that saw her miss the end of the Women's Super League season.

Bayern Munich's Stanway, who has made 75 appearances for the Lionesses, has been out since January after suffering a lateral collateral ligament tear.

Hemp has been sidelined for the last five months after undergoing knee surgery last November, but still finished as the WSL's leading assist maker with eight.

Manchester City captain Greenwood sustained a knee injury in the Citizens' Champions League win over St. Polten in December, but has since returned to action.

"These are another two important games for us in a big year," said Wiegman. "Naturally, we are preparing for the summer ahead.

"We saw in February that both Portugal and Spain will provide a big challenge and that excites us.

"These are the levels we need to compete against to make sure we are the best possible version of ourselves on 5 July when our Euro begins.

"At the same time, it is important that we focus first on what is right in front of us and ending the Nations League campaign in the best possible way."

Ella Morris is the latest youngster to earn a first senior call-up after impressing this season with Tottenham and England's Under-23's.

Michelle Agyemang, who impressed on loan at Brighton from Arsenal, retains her place after netting 41 seconds into her debut in England's 3-2 defeat by Belgium in April.

There is also a recall for Aston Villa's Missy Bo Kearns, but there is no place for Lucy Parker, Millie Turner and Maisie Symonds in the squad.

England are second in Group A3 after four games, trailing leaders Spain by two points.

Full England squad in full: Mary Earps (Paris Saint-Germain), Hannah Hampton (Chelsea), Khiara Keating (Manchester City), Anna Moorhouse (Orlando Pride); Millie Bright (Chelsea), Lucy Bronze (Chelsea), Jess Carter (Gotham FC), Niamh Charles (Chelsea), Alex Greenwood (Manchester City), Maya le Tissier (Manchester United), Esme Morgan (Washington Spirit), Ella Morris (Tottenham), Leah Williamson (Arsenal); Grace Clinton (Manchester United), Missy Bo Kearns (Aston Villa), Fran Kirby (Brighton), Jess Park (Manchester City), Georgia Stanway (Bayern Munich), Ella Toone (Manchester United), Keira Walsh (Chelsea); Michelle Agyemang (Brighton, on loan from Arsenal), Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea), Lauren Hemp (Manchester City), Chloe Kelly (Arsenal, on loan from Manchester City), Beth Mead (Arsenal), Nikita Parris (Brighton), Alessia Russo (Arsenal).
